  • This geometry accesses undercut profiles that conventional ball nose tools physically cannot machine.
  • The extended ball angle reaches into internal radii where standard tools create interference.
  • Four flutes balance surface finish with chip evacuation in steel and aluminum applications.
  • The 0.241" neck diameter provides clearance while maintaining rigidity at the 0.375" cutting diameter.
  • TiB₂ coating handles the thermal load when cutting above the equator.
  • The coating extends tool life in demanding undercut operations where conventional end mills would fail from heat buildup and premature wear.
  • Most machinable metals respond well to this geometry when internal features require full radius access.
